2025年6月19日(木)〜6月29日(日)の期間、Dominique Hurth（ドミニク・ハース）による個展「Mixtape(s)」を開催いたします。

 

ドミニク・ハースは、インスタレーション、展覧会、エディションを扱うアーティストです。新作の出発点は、地域や画像に存在する物語であることが多く、彼女のインスタレーションは形式に焦点を当てているものの、その形式の展開には長期的で詳細な研究が深く組み込まれています。

 

本展では「Mixtape（s）」というタイトルのもと、2010年から2024年にかけて制作されたアーティストブックとパンフレットの小さなセレクションを展示し、2021年にPrinted Matter Inc.（NYC）から出版されたアーティストブック『Stutters』から展開されるポスターシリーズも併せて展示します。

We are pleased to announce “Mixtape(s)” a solo exhibition by Dominique Hurth from Thursday June 19 – Sunday June 29, 2025.

 

Dominique Hurth is an artist working with installations, exhibitions and editions. The starting point for new works is often a narrative present in localities or images. Even though her installations are often concentrated on the form, a long and detailed research is strongly embedded in the development of this same form.

 

Under the title “Mixtape(s)” this exhibition she will shows a small selection of her artists’ books and pamphlets realized between 2010 and 2024, together with a series of posters that expands from her artists’ book Stutters (published 2021 by Printed Matter Inc., NYC).

    Dominique Hurth（ドミニク・ハース）
    ドミニク・ハースは、パリのパレ・ド・トーキョー、バルセロナのFundació Tapies、ベルリンのハンブルガー・バーンホフ、ラバトのl’appartement 22など、世界中の美術館やアート施設で展覧会を開催しており、作品は複数のコレクションに収蔵されています。彼女は、ポロック＝クラズナー財団助成金（2016-17年）、ニューヨークのISCPにおけるベルリン市議会/ベルリン市長賞（2014年）、ベルリン芸術研究プログラム（2022-23年）など、数々の賞とレジデンスを受賞しています。2025年現在は、京都のヴィラ鴨川でレジデンスプログラムに参加しています。

    彼女の最新作『Stutters』は、Printed Matter（ニューヨーク）からの委託を受け、2021年7月に出版されました。本書は、ワシントンD.C.のスミソニアン協会が所蔵する写真コレクションの数年にわたるアーカイブ研究に焦点を当てています。彼女の初のモノグラフ『Mixtape』（2020年出版）は、オーディオテープと2冊のブックレットで構成されています。

    Dominique Hurth has exhibited in museums and art institutions internationally (including Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Fundació Tapies, Barcelona; Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin; l’appartement 22, Rabat) and are part of several collections. She was the recipient of many prizes and residencies, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (2016-17), the Prize of the Berlin Senate / Governing Mayor of Berlin at the ISCP, New York (2014), the Berlin Artistic Research Programme (2022-23). She is currently on residency at Villa Kamogawa, Kyoto (2025).

    Her latest book titled “Stutters”, published and commissioned by Printed Matter (NYC), was released in July 2021. It focuses on several years of archival research in the photo collection of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. Her first monographic “Mixtape” (published 2020) takes the format of the audio tape and two booklets.
