「境界-関係」

2026年7月23日(木) – 8月9日(日)の期間、阿部駿による個展「境界-関係」を開催いたします。

阿部駿は東京を拠点にファッションや広告の分野で活動している写真家です。

商業写真として様々な被写体を捉える一方で、それらとは全く違った自主的な作品を積極的に撮り続けている阿部駿。

視覚的構成を巧みに取り入れ、構図への細やかな配慮が感じられる阿部駿の自主作品には、光と影の繊細な使い方も反映されています。建物の影や角度を利用して捉えられたその瞬間には建築的要素が感じられ、観る者を強く惹きつけます。

「境界-関係」と題した本展では、長年の制作のテーマでもある境界と関係をさらに深掘りした近年の作品を発表いたします。

境界は、あらかじめ存在するものではない。
操作によって成立する現象である。

区切ること。
切り取ること。
折ること。

異なる操作によって成立した境界、
写真は平面と空間の間を往復し認識を更新する

これは写真を通して、
境界が成立する過程を観察した記録である。

We are pleased to announce “Boundaries-Relationship” a exhibition by Shun Abe from Thursday July 23 – Sunday August 9, 2026.

Shun Abe is a Tokyo-based photographer active in the fields of fashion and advertising.

While capturing a wide variety of subjects in his commercial photography, Shun Abe also actively continues to create independent works that are entirely distinct from his commercial projects.

Abe’s independent works skillfully incorporate visual composition and reveal a meticulous attention to framing, reflecting his delicate use of light and shadow. The architectural elements evident in these moments—captured by utilizing the shadows and angles of buildings—strongly captivate the viewer.

In this exhibition, titled “Boundaries—Relationships,” he presents recent works that delve even deeper into the themes of boundaries and relationships, which have been central to his practice for many years.

Boundaries do not pre-exist.
They are phenomena created through manipulation.

To demarcate.
To cut out.
To fold.

Boundaries formed through various manipulations—
photography moves back and forth between the plane and space, renewing our perception.

This is a record, captured through photography,
of the process by which boundaries are formed.
